These braided leather leads are manufactured from premium grade bridle leather which is durable and comfortable in your hands. The stitching is cleverly augmented by the braiding which will ensure that your lead will last you for many years.

The braided section near the handle ensures a comfortable grip and the braided section near the latch head ensures IF the lead stitching comes loose then the braids tighten like a slip knot so the head cannot become detached. This is different to rivetted leads that decrease the strength of the lead and rivets are bound to come off. Our leather pieces are strong enough to last a lifetime yet comfortable at the same time.
