Care guide

Cleaning: To clean, rinse your lead and clip with fresh water to remove dirt, mud, or saltwater.

For stubborn grime, use mild soap or pet-safe detergent with a soft cloth or sponge.

Carabiner care: Unlike traditional spring-loaded trigger clips, our carabiners are designed with no exposed springs, making them more resistant to jamming from sand or grit.

If you do notice grit in the barrel mechanism, a quick shake or rinse will usually dislodge it.

Important: Avoid forcing the carabiner open if grit is present in the barrel. Forcing it can permanently affect the auto-lock function. Gently clean and shake it out first.

Drying: Pat dry with a clean towel or leave to air dry.

Storage: Store your lead in a dry place to keep it looking and performing its best.

Tips: Regularly check the clip, lead and stitching to ensure everything is intact and performing as it should.

Lightweight aluminium auto-locking carabiner with 360° swivel provides a secure attachment while helping prevent accidental unclipping and lead twist.

CONFIDENT CONTROL IN ALL WEATHER

Flexible PVC webbing with a naturally slip-resistant finish provides a secure, comfortable grip in wet, muddy and slippery conditions. Includes a handy steel D-ring for carrying poo bags or accessories.
